2000 Calorie Cafeteria "hot" Breakfast: Go

Yes, the fat lady has sung and so did I. Here we have it ladies and gents, what drives me from my bunk in the morning. Her skirts lift, those curtains part, the clouds crack- and through we see the shimmer visage of a mountain adorned with all the unnecessary accouterments of that great hot, wet American dream: Breakfast.
Yes, that ham is glistening. No, it is not a glaze. This sopping pile sits wallowing in a pool of juices not it's own: synthetic maple syrup. Those great ham pediments? cut from the thighs of our mountain dwellers, those Titans on High: flawed, made in our image, primordial, both super and sub human- what can we do but perform the rites and watch the auguries fly?
Well, regardless of poorly dressing'ed classical allusions, this hollow calorie hulk trebucheted my Monday morning into the red.

Lean Green Morning

Inspired by a recent watch of Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, I've decided to start dumping more fruits and veggies into my blender. The thing, which usually cargoes yogurt, ice cream and/or protein mix, did a fine job.
Pictured, and included: Spinach, celery, cucumber, green apple, half a lemon, 1 cup blue berries, and a hand full of carrots. I also added a cup of fresh green tea to give the slurry some more body.

Surprisingly delicious. Now i just need to wait for lunch...

Cheddar, Onions & Guinness

After a somewhat ambitious 2 mile run tonight (yes it's 2 am), i had the urge to throw these things in my body. It being the day after "NATIONAL DAY", why can't i celebrate my "pursuit of cheddar" as any good, free, and fat person ought to?
